Getcontact [Mod APK](https://bestforandroid.com/apk/ "apps apk download")

Version **8.14.0** · Getverify LDA · `app.source.getcontact`

Caller ID, spam detector and SMS filter. The mod build unlocks the premium tier so number lookup, tag history and ad-free browsing all work without a subscription.

What is Getcontact
------------------

Getcontact is a caller identification and spam protection app from Getverify LDA, a developer that has shipped the same product to over 100 million [Android](https://bestforandroid.com/ "best android guides") installs. The app does three jobs in one bundle: it identifies an unknown number before you pick up, it tags and blocks recurring spam or fraud calls, and it gives you a private messenger with end-to-end encryption alongside the contact tools.

The audience splits two ways. The first is anyone who picks up calls for work and gets hit by recruiter cold-calls, finance scams or robo-dialed nuisance traffic. The second is users who want to know what tags the wider community has attached to their own number, since Getcontact aggregates names submitted across its network and lets you audit your own footprint. Both groups land on the same toolset.

The official Play Store version is free with caps on monthly lookups and a recurring ad layer. The Premium subscription lifts the caps and removes the ads. The mod build on this page activates that Premium layer without the subscription bill.

Key features
------------

Caller ID lookup

Resolves the name behind an unknown number using the Getcontact network. Pulls a name, surname and any community tags before you decide to answer.

Spam call blocker

Auto-rejects known spam, fraud and robocall numbers based on aggregated tag data. Custom block list for repeat offenders.

Encrypted messenger

End-to-end encrypted chat layered on top of the contacts engine. Send text, media and voice notes inside the same app.

Tag history audit

See how the network labels your own number. Track which contacts saved you under which name. Useful for reputation control.

SMS filter

Automatically routes promotional and suspicious texts to a separate folder. Inbox stays cleaner without losing the message trail.

Privacy controls

Granular visibility settings, hide tags from outsiders, and AES-grade local storage of your contact graph.

--------------------

The modified Getcontact 8.14.0 build unlocks the Premium subscription tier without a paid plan. The lookup quota, tag history and ad-free interface all behave as if a Premium account were active on the device.

- **Premium unlocked.**Every Premium-locked feature is available the moment the app launches, including the higher monthly search quota that the free tier caps at a hard limit.
- **Unlimited number searches.**The 100-per-day-ish ceiling on free-tier lookups is lifted. Run as many caller ID queries as your workflow needs without a paywall interrupt.
- **Full tag history visible.**See the complete list of tags assigned to any number, not just the first three that the free tier shows.
- **No ads anywhere.**Banner and interstitial ad slots are removed across the lookup screen, the messenger surface and the spam-tag interface.
- **Subscription upsell removed.**The repeated “Go Premium” prompts that fire on first-of-day search and on quota-hit are stripped out of the flow.
- **Background sync uncapped.**The contact and tag database refreshes on the Premium cadence rather than the slower free-tier interval, so your network data stays current.

How to install
--------------

The install follows the standard Android sideload flow. The mod ships as an APK; on devices that need split bundles the latest build is an XAPK and may require a third-party installer.

1. **Uninstall the Play Store build**If the official Getcontact is already on the device, remove it first. Signature differences between the official and the mod will block a direct upgrade.
2. **Download the file**Tap the green download button on this page. The APK or XAPK lands in your default Downloads folder.
3. **Allow installs from this source**Open Settings, search for `Install unknown apps`, find your file manager or browser, and toggle the permission on.
4. **Open the file**Tap the downloaded file. For an APK, the system installer opens directly. For an XAPK, use a free split installer like SAI or APKMirror Installer.
5. **Tap Install**Confirm the install. Wait for the progress bar to finish, then tap Open to launch Getcontact.
6. **First-run setup**Sign in with your number to bootstrap the contact graph. Premium features should activate automatically; if the upsell appears, restart the app once.

What’s new in version 8.14.0
----------------------------

- Updated spam-tag engine, faster lookup on numbers with sparse community data.
- New regional tag packs for South Asia and Latin America, broader coverage on local scam patterns.
- SMS filter rewrite, lower false-positive rate on promotional messages from delivery and banking shortcodes.
- Messenger reliability fixes for slow connections.
- Compatibility patch for Android 16 and One UI 7.

FAQ
---

Is Getcontact free to use? The official Getcontact app on Google Play is free to download. Basic caller identification works without a subscription, but the daily search quota, full tag history and ad-free experience sit behind a paid Premium tier. What does the mod APK change? The modded build activates the Premium tier so number searches are uncapped, the full tag history is visible on every contact, and the ad layer is removed across the app. Will my contact data sync across builds? Yes. Getcontact stores the contact graph against your phone number, not against the app installation. Sign in with the same number on the mod and the network knows you. Sign out and your local cache clears. What Android version do I need? Getcontact 8.14.0 requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or above. The build is a universal package and runs on both 64-bit (arm64-v8a) and 32-bit (armeabi-v7a) chipsets. How big is the download? The Getcontact 8.14.0 file is roughly 84 MB. Allow extra device space for the contact cache, tag database and messenger media; the database grows over time as the network data syncs.Related apps
