What this *build* actually is
-----------------------------

Pokemon Fire Red never had an official Android release. This download is a packaged build that bundles a Game Boy Advance emulator together with the Fire Red ROM inside a single APK. Open it once and the game boots straight into the Kanto intro, with no emulator setup, BIOS files, or ROM imports to deal with. For anyone who has bounced off the usual emulator-plus-ROM workflow, that is the whole appeal.

Underneath, it is the same 2004 GBA title that introduced a generation to Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. You travel through the Kanto region as Red, fill out the Pokedex with all 151 original creatures, take on eight Gym Leaders, and finish at the Elite Four and the Champion. The Sevii Islands post-game content from the original cartridge is intact as well.

Because it is an unofficial emulator package and not a Google Play listing, the credited original developer is Game Freak and Nintendo. The Android wrapper around it is community-built, which is why you download it from sources like this one rather than the Play Store.

What this *package* offers
--------------------------

- **Emulator bundled in**No separate GBA emulator or ROM download. The package runs the game on its own from the first launch.
- **Quick save and load anywhere**Save states let you snapshot progress at any moment and resume instantly, on top of the original in-game save system.
- **Touchscreen controls**An on-screen D-pad and buttons mapped for phones, so the GBA layout works without a physical controller.
- **All 151 original Pokemon**The complete Kanto roster is here, from starters through legendaries like Mewtwo, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
- **Full campaign and post-game**Eight Gyms, the Elite Four, the Champion fight, and the Sevii Islands content all carry over from the original cartridge.
- **Plays offline**Once installed, the game runs with no network connection, which keeps it light on data and usable anywhere.

How to *install*
----------------

1. **Download the APK**Tap the download button on this page. The roughly 9 MB file lands in your Downloads folder in a few seconds.
2. **Allow installs from this source**Open Settings, search `Install unknown apps`, and toggle the permission on for your browser or file manager.
3. **Open the downloaded file**Tap the APK in Downloads. Android’s package installer opens and shows the permissions it needs.
4. **Tap install**Confirm and wait for the short install to finish, then tap Open to launch.
5. **Start your journey**The game boots straight to the Kanto intro. Pick a starter and you are playing, no extra setup required.
