The second T-version of the OnePlus 7 smartphone, the OnePlus 7T Pro, has been launched at an event held in London yesterday. The OnePlus 7T Pro comes a couple of weeks after the launch of the OnePlus 7T that took place in India and some other regions.

The OnePlus 7T Pro is an update to the OnePlus 7 Pro and resembles pretty much the same with a pop-up selfie camera and similar-sized curved display. However, the back now comes with the matte frosted finish similar to the OnePlus 7T. The OnePlus 7T Pro comes in a single color Haze Blue option, which is a new paint job.

The OnePlus 7T Pro features the same 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate as the OnePlus 7 Pro. The screen has the same QHD+ resolution with HDR10+ support to enjoy the best streaming services. Moreover, the pop-up front camera allows an expansive notch-less screen footprint.

On the inside, the OnePlus 7T Pro features a new 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, which brings 15% GPU and 4% CPU performance enhancement over the Snapdragon 855 SoC that powers the OnePlus 7 Pro. The SoC in the OnePlus 7T Pro is paired with Adreno 640 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage.

The triple-rear-camera array is carried over from the OnePlus 7 Pro as it mounts a 48MP f/1.6 Sony IMX586 SoC primary sensor, 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle with a 117-degree field of view, an 8MP f//2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS.

The rear camera module has the Nightscape mode and a new Super macro mode. The addition of HIS (Hybrid Image Stabilization) makes the video recording a shake-free experience. The 16MP f/2.0 pop-up selfie shooter is the same from OnePlus 7 Pro.

The OnePlus 7T Pro runs OxygenOS 10 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box, bringing a range of the latest features to the device. A 4,085mAh battery fuels the phone, but it is now equipped with OnePlus’s latest Warp Charge 30T technology. Other salient aspects include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFS, a USB Type-C port.

The OnePlus 7T Pro will start selling starting October 17 at a price tag of EUR699 for the single 8GB RAM+256GB storage model. OnePlus has also announced the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition, which packs 12GB RAM and has touches of orange color with McLaren design. It is priced at EUR799 and will go on sale in November.
