The mid-year refreshes of the OnePlus 7 series- the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro- are on its way to launch next month as the upcoming smartphones have started leaking already. The latest leak, however, reveals more than what we could have anticipated.

The leak courtesy of @OnLeaks and published by Compareraja blog lays bare the complete spec sheet of both the smartphones as well as the launch date which is contradictory to what was expected earlier.

Per the leak, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are likely to launch on October 10 with sale kicking off on October 15. Previously it was believed that the smartphones duo will launch on September 26 in India alongside the launch of the OnePlus TV.

If the revelation in the leak is to be believed, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC paired with 8GB RAM. The OnePlus 7T will pack 128GB or 256GB storage whereas the OnePlus 7T Pro will come in only 256GB internal storage configuration. They will also run OxygenOS based on Android 10 and mount a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and EIS support.

Other similarities include HDR 10+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint scanner, macro mode, a new nightscape mode, and 960 fps slo-mo video recording capability in 720p resolution. Differences are mainly confined to display size and resolution and battery capacity and to a slight extent to the rear camera configuration.

The OnePlus 7T will sport a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display with 2400x1080p FHD+ resolution and 402 ppi pixel density while the OnePlus 7T Pro will feature a slightly bigger 6.65-inch Super AMOLED display with 3100x1440p QHD+ resolution and 516 ppi pixel density.

A 3,800mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T will fuel the OnePlus 7T. On the other hand, a bigger 4,085mAh battery with the same Warp Charge 30T support will tick the OnePlus 7T Pro.

Both the smartphones will tack on triple-rear cameras but with a slight difference in the setup. The OnePlus 7T packs a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture, OIS, and EIS support along with a 12MP telephoto sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 2x zoom, and a 16MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view.

The OnePlus 7T Pro will make use of exactly the same 48MP primary sensor and 16MP ultra-wide sensor but the 8MP telephoto sensor will have smaller f/2.4 aperture and 3x zoom instead of 2x zoom.

So far, no leak has revealed the pricing of the two phones but it is speculated that both the devices will fall in the same ballpark as the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T, respectively. Let’s see what happens. Stay tuned.
