The much-talked-about Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro have been launched in China and jiving with the earlier rumors they come packed with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G compatibility, and 108MP quad-rear-camera setup. Apart from that, both the devices flaunt hole-punch curved AMOLED display, Wi-Fi 6, and fast charging support.

Both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro design-wise are identical and in terms of specs they bear many similarities as well. However, contrast is seen in battery size, wired fast charging support, and storage capacity; alongside the major difference reflected in the rear-mounted camera specs.

Despite having been armed with premium specifications the Mi 10 series has been priced pretty judiciously so as not to burn a hole in anyone’s pocket. The Mi 10 starts at just CNY3,999 (Approx. USD572) while the Mi 10 Pro begins at CNY4,999 (Approx. USD716).

The Mi 10 includes a 4,780mAh battery armed with 30W wired as well as 30W wireless fast charging technology. There is also10W reverse charging facility offered in tow.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro specifications

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro offers the same 6.67-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with 1,120 nit brightness, 90Hz refresh rates, and 180Hz touch sampling rates as found in the Mi 10. Pumping power from under the hood is the same Snapdragon 865 SoC mated to 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB default storage based on UFS 3.0. The Mi 10 Pro runs MIUI 11 slapped on top of Android 10.

Despite being a Pro version, the Mi 10 Pro, is stacked with a smaller 4,500mAh battery but it compensates for this lack by getting the support of 50W wired fast charging. However, similar to the Mi 10, it boasts the same 30W wireless and 10W reverse fast charging support.

The Mi 10 Pro has a front-facing 20MP selfie camera same as the Mi 10, but the real deal about the phone is its heavy-duty rear camera setup. Besides the 108MP primary sensor, the Mi 10 Pro wields a 20MP ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP depth sensor.

It is pertinent to note that the Mi 10 Pro outstripped all the existing smartphones in camera performance by amassing 124 points on the DxoMark camera benchmark no sooner than it launched.
