The Pixel 11 Pro Fold was not supposed to be seen yet, and thanks to the recent leaks, its hinge and full design are now apparently better documented than the phone’s spec sheet.
A fresh batch of leaked images from Evan Blass shows the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in dark green, with the hinge looking noticeably thinner than last year’s. These images also confirm Pixel Glow has made it onto the Fold too, not just the standard Pro variant.
The leaked photos look as if they are pulled straight from Google’s own product listings, as they are available in high resolution, shot the way real marketing shots are taken, and are super clean.
What actually changed on this Fold
Overall, it has the same shape Google’s used for the past three years; the thickness seems to have changed, though. A March leak put this Fold at 10.1mm folded, down from 10.8mm last year.
In these new photos, the clear difference is visible around the speaker cutouts and button spacing, which are both apparently tighter than on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
This is not a full revamp of the design; this is more the kind of difference you’d only notice holding last year’s phone in one hand and this one in the other, which almost nobody gets to do before launch day.
Does Pixel Glow show up on the Fold?
Looks like it is, based on these images. Pixel Glow was teased deliberately in a vague video the day before this leak dropped, and the newly leaked marketing shots appear to confirm the ring light effect carries over to the foldable series.
One image shows the 8-inch internal display fully open. Another shows a split layout that seems to be perfect for YouTube and streaming, i.e., video up top, playback controls on the bottom half, which precisely shows the aspect whenever the phone sits half folded.
How it stacks up against Samsung
Even at 10.1mm, the Fold still runs thicker than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8, at 9.7mm. It lands close to the Motorola Razr Fold, which is also at 10.1mm when folded.
It’s important to factor in that Google doesn’t seem to be pursuing thin characteristics here. It’s a hinge that survives several years of pocket abuse and use without coming loose.
What’s confirmed versus still rumor
These newly leaked Pixel 11 Pro Fold images confirm Pixel Glow is real. The official launch event is set for August 12.
The rumor aspects of this phone include the final specs, pricing, and whether these marketing photos show the actual retail unit or an earlier build. Evan Blass has a strong track record with Google leaks, though a leak stays a leak until Google makes it official.
The same batch of leaked images also revealed a new Pixel Watch 5 and a Pixel Buds Pro 2 color nobody had seen before. Google’s entire lineup seems to have already been revealed before the event.
