Logitech Leak Reveals Foldable Phone-Like Mouse with Touch Scrolling

The recent leak reveals Logitech’s foldable phone-like mouse that replaces a traditional wheel with an adaptive touch-scrolling surface. The design prioritizes portability with a fold-in-half design and makes it travel-friendly as it may easily fit in your pocket.

Logitech Folding Mouse Ultra Portable

The traditional travel mouse has always been less ergonomic and unsuitable for long-term usage, and requires extra bag space. Logitech’s latest leak reveals how the company has been working on a flip mouse with a hybrid work design philosophy that offers comfort without sacrificing portability.

This upcoming ultra-portable flip mouse is ideal for frequent travelers and digital nomads who work on tablets, laptops, and even phones. It has Bluetooth and can pair with multiple devices, which adds travel convenience and novelty.

The leaked marketing images obtained by WinFuture, a German website, show Logitech working on an ultra-portable wireless mouse that folds shut like a small clamshell, going a step further than Microsoft’s old Surface Arc mouse, which could only fold flat. This thing actually hinges inward. Once folded, it looks like a baby flip phone, and I kind of love it.

Logitech Folding Ultra Portable Mouse Features

The mouse’s name is still unknown. However, multiple marketing images have been leaked showing an ultracompact mouse from different angles, as well as photos of people using the device at different locations, including an airport and café. Even adaptive touch scrolling is featured as well.

The target audience is obvious as the mouse folds up and slips into a pocket, more compact than the old Microsoft Surface Arc or Lenovo Yoga mouse, which were already the travel mouse champions. If you’re someone who lives out of a laptop bag and hates dongles dangling off your machine, this mouse is basically designed specifically for you.

For connectivity, Bluetooth with multiple device support is expected, which means you should be able to seamlessly switch between your laptop and tablet without re-pairing. That’s one of the handy features I use constantly on my current mouse.

Here’s my honest concern, though.

A folding mouse with a hinge, and the hinges break. My biggest fear with something this fragile and compact is that the mouse could snap in a bag after daily use. Although generally Logitech makes durable products, I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt, but that hinge had better be strong and sturdy.

No price, release date, or official confirmation exists yet, though with polished product photos and marketing assets already leaked, it seems like the official launch is likely not far away.
