Why this mod travels well

Homa Games built Merge Master: Dinosaur Fusion as a quick-session puzzle battler. You stack identical dinos on a small grid, two of the same fuse into a stronger unit, then your bench of monsters charges the enemy line. The fun is real for the first dozen levels, and then the coin economy kicks in. Coins gate everything that matters: new dinos, the boss-mode summons, the gold-only character roster that you only meet after stage 30.

The mod build hosted on this page keeps the coin counter topped up so the puzzle stays the puzzle. You still have to think about which slot to drop the next dino in. You still lose to ranged enemies on the back row if you stack too tall. The grind to afford a Triceratops is the part that disappears, not the strategy.

Six concrete differences vs. the free Play Store build.

  • Unlimited coins from boot. The currency cap is unlocked, so you can buy any dino in the shop the moment you reach it instead of farming back-to-back battles.
  • Full dinosaur roster unlocked early. Triceratops, T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl, the boss-tier units that normally take 40 stages to afford are buyable from stage 1.
  • Skip the timed coin packs. The 60-second ad-watch pop-ups for bonus coins are bypassable because the bonus is functionally meaningless once your wallet is uncapped.
  • Cosmetic skins purchasable. Themed dino skins (ice, fire, holographic) that normally sit behind a coin-and-gem combo lock are reachable on the coin path alone.
  • No save-data wipe on update. The mod's local save survives game-version bumps so your highest stage and merged collection carry over.
  • Offline mode works. Battles run without a live connection, which is the actual reason most casual players keep a mod build on a tablet that does not see Wi-Fi often.

How to install the mod APK

Five minutes from tap to title screen, no root needed.

  1. Tap the download button at the bottom of this page. Your browser will save the 141 MB APK to your phone's Downloads folder.
  2. Allow installs from this source. Android may prompt for permission the first time you side-load. Settings > Apps > Special access > Install unknown apps > toggle your browser on.
  3. Uninstall the Play Store version first. If you already had Merge Master installed, remove it. Mixed signatures will block the install.
  4. Open the APK file from Downloads. Confirm the package name reads com.fusee.MergeMaster in the install prompt before you tap Install.
  5. Launch the game from your app drawer. Skip through the first-launch language picker and you land in the tutorial stage.
  6. Confirm coins are uncapped. Open the shop from the main menu. The coin counter at the top should read a comma-broken nine-digit number. If it reads a normal value, the install picked up the Play Store cache: clear Merge Master's cache in Settings and relaunch.
