What Whats Web does

Whats Web is a small utility that solves a single annoyance: WhatsApp lets one account run on one phone, and the web pairing flow assumes you have a laptop nearby. This app brings the QR scanner onto the phone itself, so you can read and reply through a web session on the same device, or mirror a second number that lives on another handset.

The core trick is the built-in QR reader. Point it at the code shown on web.whatsapp.com or on a second device, and the session loads inside the app. Chats, media, and contacts appear in a clean reader view. People reach for it most often to run a work number alongside a personal one without juggling two phones, and to keep an eye on a family member's shared device.

It also doubles as a status saver. WhatsApp does not give you a download button on statuses, so the app caches the images and videos a contact posts and lets you save them to the gallery with one tap. None of this touches the official WhatsApp app, which stays installed and untouched on your phone.
