What is JioCinema

JioCinema is one of the biggest streaming services in India. It bundles live sport, movies, TV shows, and original web series into a single app. The catalogue runs across Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Malayalam, Punjabi, and more regional languages, with dubbed tracks for a lot of the international titles. Live cricket and the big tournaments have always pulled the heaviest crowds, but the film and serial library is deep too.

Installing the official app costs nothing. Most of what makes it worth using, though, sits behind a premium plan. Free viewers run into a resolution ceiling, ad breaks throughout playback, and no way to download anything for offline viewing. The premium tier clears all three. Quality goes up, ads go away, and downloads open up for watching on the move.

The build on this page is a community-modified version. It flips on the premium behaviour without a paid subscription. Same library, same interface. The only thing it changes is what the paywall usually locks.

How to install

1. Download the APK file

   Tap the download button on this page. The file drops into your default Downloads folder.

2. Allow installs from this source

   Open Settings, search for Install unknown apps, pick your browser or file manager, and turn the permission on.

3. Open the downloaded APK

   Tap the file in Downloads. Android's package installer opens and shows the permissions it asks for.

4. Tap Install

   Confirm the install and let the progress bar finish, then tap Open to launch the app.

5. Sign in and start watching

   Sign in with a Jio number or a guest profile if it asks. Premium playback should be live straight away.
