A retro side-scrolling brawler built around hand-to-hand combat, weapon pickups, and a story mode packed with bosses. This modded build ships with unlimited money, so every character, weapon, and upgrade is already yours the moment you start.
What is Dan the Man
Dan the Man is a pixel-art action platformer from Halfbrick Studios, the team behind Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride. It began as a web cartoon and turned into a full mobile brawler. You punch, kick, and shoot through waves of enemies across a story-driven campaign. The combat carries the whole thing. Combo chains stay tight, you can juggle enemies in the air, and the pickups run from baseball bats to machine guns.
The game splits into a handful of modes. Story mode walks you through hand-crafted stages with mini-bosses and a showdown at the end of each level. Survival mode just keeps throwing enemy waves at you while you chase a high score. There is also a stage editor and a co-op option, so two players can clear a level together on one device. Sitting under all of it is a light progression system where coins buy new characters, costumes, and weapon upgrades.
The base game is free. You earn coins by playing, or you pay real money to skip ahead and unlock things faster. That coin economy is the exact thing the modded build on this page rewires. It cuts the grind so you can try every character and loadout right away.
What this mod offers
The modified build of Dan the Man 1.12.75 opens up the coin economy so progression no longer gates the fun. Anything that usually costs grinding or an in-app purchase is sitting there from your first run.
- Unlimited money.
Your coin balance never empties, so buying characters, costumes, and upgrades costs you nothing in practice.
- All characters unlocked.
Dan, Josie, and the rest of the roster are ready to play. No grinding coins to unlock them one at a time.
- Full weapon and combo upgrades.
Every tier on the skill tree is affordable, so you can tune a brawler that hits the way you want.
- Costumes and skins available.
The cosmetic costume packs that normally sit behind coin or cash walls are open to mix and match.
- No purchase prompts.
The store upsells that break up the loop fade into the background once money stops being a constraint.
