What Hungry Shark World is
Hungry Shark World is the bigger sequel to the original Hungry Shark Evolution, built by FGOL and now operated under Ubisoft Entertainment. The pitch is simple: you control a shark in a feeding frenzy, eat everything that fits in your jaws, and grow strong enough to take on bosses, planes, and submarines. Beneath the simple loop sits a deep progression system covering 43 shark species, eight size tiers, four open-world maps, and a steady drip of seasonal events.
The maps are the soul of the game. The Pacific Islands give you tropical reefs and tourist beaches; the Arctic Ocean hides icebergs and trapped explorers; the Arabian Sea drops you into oil rigs and shipwrecks; the South China Sea pushes you into a flooded urban level full of unwary humans. Each map has its own currency, missions, and hidden objects, so the early grind of unlocking new sharks pays off in fresh hunting grounds rather than recycled levels.
The vanilla release is free with adverts and in-app purchases for gold and gems. The mod build on this page replaces the paywall with unlimited currency, unlocks every shark, and disables the rewarded ads that gate certain rescues. The gameplay itself is unchanged, which keeps Google Play Leaderboards and Achievements compatible if you sign in with a sandbox account.
What the mod unlocks
The 7.8.1 mod build folds the standard Ubisoft release with a save-state patch that pre-fills currency and ownership flags. The gameplay loop, missions, and update path stay the same; only the wallet and inventory differ from the vanilla install.
- Unlimited gold and gems. Both currencies start at a cap that does not drain through normal play, so upgrades, accessories, and shark unlocks are immediately affordable.
- All 43 sharks unlocked. The full roster is available from the shark select screen, including the Megalodon, the Big Daddy, and the Apex tier predators normally locked behind hours of grinding.
- Premium gadgets and pets. Jetpacks, lasers, headphones, baby sharks, octopus pets, and bald eagle companions are all unlocked, removing the gold paywall on the gadget shop.
- Rewarded ads disabled. The "watch an ad to revive" prompt during a run is skipped automatically, which keeps the offline experience uninterrupted.
- SuperSize, Hypnosis, and Apex abilities accessible. The end-game abilities tied to Extinction Mode work on any shark that supports them, not just the late-game Apex tier.
- No subscription nags. The store and currency screens load without the upsell prompts that interrupt vanilla play after a few runs.
How to install the APK
The install follows the standard Android sideload flow. Roughly four taps on a recent device if you have already approved your file manager to install unknown apps.
