A hand-drawn ninja platformer with 80 stages across four chapters, eight bosses, and one-life dash combat. The mod build keeps the level design and the physics intact. It just tears down the gold and gems wall.
What is Ninja Arashi 2
Ninja Arashi 2 is the sequel to Black Panther's 2017 hand-drawn ninja platformer. You play Arashi, a master shinobi who just broke out of a frozen prison and is now hunting the shadow demon Dosu to get his son back. It is a side-scrolling action platformer with hard combat, traversal puzzles, and stages that lean on twitch timing more than long fights.
The campaign runs 80 stages split across four chapters. Each chapter brings a new biome, a fresh enemy set, and a boss fight that closes the arc. Controls are simple. Virtual stick on the left, three buttons on the right: jump, dash, shuriken. The dash is your air mobility and your parry at once, and the whole combat tempo rides on it.
The free version runs on interstitial ads and a shop where gold and gems lock the costume slots, the artifact upgrades, and the alternate weapon sets. Progress without paying is slow, and that is exactly what the modded build at the top of this page opens up. Mirrors like APKPure and HappyMod carry the standard build too, but the link stack here points at the modded variant first.

What this mod offers
The community build of Ninja Arashi 2 1.9.6 keeps the same 80 stages, four chapters, and combat physics as the official Black Panther release. What it drops is the soft-currency wall that gates costume slots, artifact upgrades, and weapon sets in the free version.
- Unlimited gold and gems.
Currency reads high from the first launch. Costumes, artifact tiers, alternate weapons, and the late-game upgrade trees all open up without grinding or sitting through ad bundles.
- All costumes and weapons unlocked.
You can buy the costume slots and the alternate katana, dual-blade, and shuriken sets from chapter one. No more waiting on a level gate to unlock them.
- Lives boosted to 999.
The retry budget per stage stops being the bottleneck. That helps a lot on the chapter-three and chapter-four boss patterns, the ones that take a few reads before they click.
- No dash cooldown.
The mid-air dash refills on the next frame instead of pausing. Platforming turns into a fluid way to move rather than a resource you have to ration.
- Artifacts and upgrades unlocked.
Every artifact slot and every upgrade-tree node is buyable on day one. That includes the chapter-four gear that normally sits behind currency walls.
- Ad pacing reduced.
The forced ad breaks between stages are trimmed back, so the rhythm of the platforming stays front and center.
How to install
The install follows the normal Android sideload flow. On most devices it is three taps, assuming you already gave your file manager the “install unknown apps” permission.

- Allow installs from this source
Open Settings, search for
Install unknown apps, pick your file manager or browser, and switch the permission on. - Open the downloaded APK

- Balance tweaks to the late-game dash window and the parry timing on tier-three enemies.
- New costume options added to the unlock pool, including a frost-themed variant for the prologue chapter.
- Smaller fixes for the upgrade-tree UI on devices with notched or hole-punch displays.
- Bug fix for save-state corruption when force-quitting during the chapter-three boss intro cutscene.

FAQ
- Is Ninja Arashi 2 free on Google Play?
- Yes. The official Ninja Arashi 2 from Black Panther is free to download on the Play Store. The game is ad-supported with optional in-app purchases for gold, gems, costumes, and artifact bundles.
- How is the mod build different from the official version?
- The mod uses the same 80 stages, four chapters, and combat physics as the Black Panther release. What changes is that the gold and gems balance reads high from launch, lives are boosted, the dash cooldown is removed, and costume and weapon slots unlock from chapter one instead of behind currency walls.
- Does Ninja Arashi 2 need Wi-Fi to play?
- No. The campaign runs offline on local save data. The game works in airplane mode and on devices with no SIM card. Cloud save sync is optional and only triggers when you sign into a Google Play Games profile.
- What Android version do I need?
- Ninja Arashi 2 1.9.6 requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or above. The build is a universal APK that runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit Android devices.
- How big is the download?
- The APK is approximately 170 MB. Most of the file size is the hand-drawn art frames and the chapter background layers. Allow extra storage for save data and any future event content drops.
- Is the modded APK safe to install?
- The file mirrored on this page has the same package signature as the build aggregators like APKPure mirror for the same version. Sideloading still carries the standard caveats: install only from sources you trust, and treat the modded build as evaluation-only if you plan to keep playing the official release after.
