We are all very much aware of how the Spotify team has been constantly fixing the loopholes and exploits used by the mod team to bypass the paywall and give everyone access to an ad-free music listening experience and other premium features without paying for the subscription.
Lately, most of the Spotify mods are causing random empty playlist issues as they shadow ban the account, leaving us stuck without music and podcasts unless we create a new account and move our playlist, which is a long and tiring process.
This is where the Spotifuck comes to the rescue. It is an app that uses the Android WebView feature to open the open.spotify.com link, camouflaged as if the link is being opened on a desktop browser. Moreover, it can also block ads.

What You Get with the Spotifuck Mod
A simple app that offers you two basic mod features, which allow you to enjoy Spotify music for free. And those basic mods are:
- Fix Empty Playlist Issue: Fixing the empty playlist issue and giving you access to your playlists is this app’s basic aim
- Audio Ads Blocking: Blocks all audio ads that play while listening to music
- Access Old/Recent Flagged Account: If you have any old or even a recent Spotify account that has been flagged, you can use that account on this app, and it will work
How to Use Spotifuck
Spotifuck is smartly designed to work in such a way that it would need two apps, as it is dependent on those to make everything work.
- The official Spotify app, which you can download from the Play Store, and
- The updated version of the Android System WebView app, available on the Play Store.
Once you have those two apps installed on your phone. Now install the Spotifuck app. And follow the following 3 steps:
- Now, to begin setting up, all you need to do is open the official Spotify app and play any song.
- Open the Spotifuck app, log in to your account, and now wait for 30 seconds. The app will redirect you to the Spotify web player, and it will take control of the music that is being played on the official Spotify app.
- Once the green dot is lit, that means the connection has been established. You can now open the official Spotify app and control the music from there.
You will see a new fake device visible at the bottom named “Chrome Web Player.” That is actually Spotifuck doing its magic.
Known Issues and Their Solutions
If in case you run into any issues while using Spotifuck then you would need to follow the steps mentioned in this section to fix it.
- Couldn’t Access Web Player
If you can't log in or get to the player, or the page starts refreshing, your Android device may be using an outdated version of the WebView. You can try updating it from the Play Store here, or you can try updating the Chrome web browser app and then selecting it as the default provider in the Android developer settings. - Facebook Login Issues
Often cases, when choosing the Facebook login option, you will get stuck on that page and you will have to stop/restart the service. This is due to a bug related to Android's Chrome WebView. In case you can't log in after many attempts, you can try logging in through the classic email and password method. - Keyboard Not Visible
If you can't see some controls or the keyboard, try scrolling the page and then click into the controls to make them appear. Alternatively, you can enable the option "Use Wide Window" before loading the service. Every phone has a different screen size, so the viewport may adapt differently.

According to my experience of sideloading and installing mods and third-party apps on my phone, you may see a warning message that says, “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.”
It is easy to fix this error; all you need to do is allow installation from unknown sources on your phone.
- Tap on the Settings button.
- A new menu will open with an option, “Allow from this source.”
- Tap on the toggle switch right next to it to enable the installation.
- You can now retry installing the app, and it will work.
