What is Zapya
Zapya is a file transfer and sharing tool from Dewmobile that moves photos, videos, music, apps, and documents between phones without using mobile data or a Wi-Fi network. It builds its own local hotspot connection, so two devices in the same room can swap files at speeds far above what Bluetooth or a cloud upload would manage. The app works across Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac, which makes it a common pick for sending a folder from a laptop to a phone in seconds.
The draw is the group feature. One person starts a share group, others scan a QR code or join nearby, and everyone in the group can pull the same files at once. Teachers pushing a lesson pack to a classroom, friends splitting a video library, and offices handing out an install file all land on the same workflow. No accounts, no data charges, no waiting on an upload bar.
The standard build is free but shows ads and gates a few comfort features behind a VIP subscription. The modified build on this page removes the ads and turns the VIP set on by default, which is the version most readers in data-restricted markets are looking for.

How to install
- Download the APK file

- Allow installs from this source
Open Settings, search
Install unknown apps, find your browser or file manager, and toggle the permission on. - Open the downloaded APK
Tap the file in Downloads. Android’s package installer opens and lists the permissions Zapya requests.
- Tap Install
Confirm and wait for the progress bar. If an older Zapya is installed, remove it first to avoid a signature clash.
- Open and share
Launch the app, grant storage and nearby-device permissions, and start a group or scan a QR code to connect.
