What is Zapya
Zapya is a file transfer tool from Dewmobile that moves photos, videos, music, apps, and documents between phones without touching your mobile data or a Wi-Fi network. It spins up its own local hotspot connection, so two devices in the same room swap files far faster than Bluetooth or a cloud upload ever could. How to install
- Download the APK file
Tap the download button on this page. The file lands in your Downloads folder.
- Allow installs from this source
Open Settings, search
Install unknown apps, find your browser or file manager, and toggle the permission on. - Open the downloaded APK
Tap the file in Downloads. Android’s package installer opens and lists the permissions Zapya asks for.
- Tap Install
Confirm and wait for the progress bar. If an older Zapya is already installed, remove it first so you avoid a signature clash.
- Open and share
Launch the app, grant storage and nearby-device permissions, then start a group or scan a QR code to connect.
