What the Advance Server is
The Free Fire Advance Server is Garena's official test build. A limited group of players gets to try upcoming content before it ships to the global game. Every cycle carries an OB number and comes as its own APK that runs alongside your normal Free Fire install. Your live game stays put, and this beta build sits right next to it.
Right now the cycle is OB53, version 68.53.0. Inside you find early access to unreleased characters, pet abilities, weapon balance changes, and reworked maps. The whole point is feedback. Garena watches how testers use the new content, takes bug reports through an in-app form, and hands out diamonds to active testers once the update goes live.
This page hosts the OB53 Advance Server APK so you can sideload it straight to your phone. One catch: the test server is gated behind an activation code from Garena, and entry is invite-only. The download here gives you the client. The code is what unlocks play.

What this build offers
The Advance Server is not a cheat build. It runs the same competitive Free Fire engine, just with next season's content switched on early. You get time with features the rest of the player base has not touched yet.
- Early characters and pets.
Test unreleased characters and their abilities, plus new pet skills, weeks before they hit the live ranked queue.
- New weapons and balance passes.
Try fresh guns, attachments, and damage tuning. You will see the meta shift coming before everyone else adapts.
- Map and mode previews.
Walk the reworked zones and run new game modes on a separate test account that never puts your main rank at risk.
- Bug reporting for diamonds.
Send in reproducible bugs through the in-app form. Garena pays diamond rewards to testers whose reports help fix the build.
- Runs alongside the live game.
The package id is different from the main app, so you do not have to uninstall regular Free Fire to test OB53.
How to install
- Download the APK
Tap the download button on this page. The ~840 MB file drops into your Downloads folder, so use Wi-Fi.
- Allow installs from this source
Open Settings, search
Install unknown apps, find your browser or file manager, and switch it on. - Open the file and install
Tap the downloaded APK, read the permissions, and confirm. The Advance Server installs right next to your live Free Fire.
- Log in and enter your code
Open the app, sign in with the Google or Facebook account tied to your Free Fire, and paste in the activation code Garena gave you.
- Start testing
If your code is valid for OB53, the test build loads. Report bugs through the in-app form to earn your diamond rewards.
